Vodafone London Fashion Weekend Feb 2015 Day 2
Following Thursday's first night 'wash-out' - very British weather indeed at Vodafone London Fashion Weekend, Friday made an about turn with a bit of sun reflecting its glow on Somerset House.
Set against a background of surrounding music, fashion-goers swarmed the cobbles - somewhat uniformed as they weaved between the plethora of room-filled designer brands, through to the Luxe Lounge, Catwalk Tent and of course who wasn't taking the odd 'stylish selfie'?!
Highlights from Day 2 included an amazing catwalk show at 3.00pm by none other than British Fashion Designer Jean-Pierre Braganza, who, showcased his SS15 collection ‘Architectonic’. JPB's signature look, incorporated modern tailoring and draping, juxaposed against structured architectural panels and complex prints for which he's become renowned.
Fans of this artistically eloquent designer, who studied at Central St Martin's and went on to work with the likes of Roland Mouret (oh did we mention that label.m has collaborated with JPB?) were truly in for a treat, as an hour later, the man himself was sat in front of an eagerly awaiting crowd.
During the presentation in the Events Lounge, he spoke about what inspired him - not believing in weekends (erm we love weekends so we salute this genius) and went on to tell the audience about how "I didn't choose Fashion - Fashion chose me. When i was younger I loved dressing up."
As an extra special treat during VLFW - there's the preview of our exclusive sunglasses designed by JPB for summer 15 and what's more - drum roll please... visitors have the chance EACH DAY to win and sport a pair before the official launch in April! Don't miss out as you've got to be in it to win it!!
As the day drew to a close, the label.m Makeover Bar was surrounded with ladies wanting to get their Fashion Fix - literally, as they headed for a Friday night out - 'working that runway inspiration' to the max.
Friday was also 'the day of the Brunettes', who were all loving our new Brunette Texturising Volume Spray which partners the original version after selling-out last February. So will Brunette follow in its footsteps and become another one of our best sellers to date? Judging by the response already we're pretty sure it's going to be close.
So for those visiting VLFW, be amongst those who will benefit from the promotion (only during the event) where you'll save 20% off all label.m products.
If you're in need a restyle or product top-up, get yourself down to Somerset House between now and Sunday. We're waiting...
