Day 5 London Fashion Week Tata Naka 21st Feb AW 17

TATA NAKA

International Artistic Director Cos Sakkas creates tribal-inspired braids at the Tata Naka Presentation AW17

The Collection

Tata Naka’s AW17 collection was inspired by Tribal Africa and how it has been modernised in recent years. Chequered print and tribal colouring ruled the presentation, respectfully representing the continent in a new and refreshing way.

The Hair

Following on the from the tribal concept, the hair was a sleek, strong ponytail that created a ‘canvas’ for the surface decoration of flowers. The number and type of flowers symbolised the woman’s place in the tribe and which specific  tribe she belongs to.

Get the Look

1.   Apply label.m Volume Mousse around the hairline and using a                   label.m Grooming Brush dry through until hair is super sleek
2.   Once dry, begin creating the ponytail placing to the right to ensure the       final look is not perfect
3.   Use a label.m Pin Tooth Comb and run through the top to ensure
there are no knots. Once completely knot-free, use a label.m
Grooming Brush to 'polish' the surface
4.   Secure ponytail tightly with elastic. Use label.m Hairspray through the
surface and the palm of your hands to remove fly-aways and ensure
      a smooth finish

label.m is the Official Haircare to London Fashion Week and London Fashion Week Men's in partnership with the British Fashion Council
