Day 1 London Collections Men SS 17 10th June 16
Rave Culture – House of Holland
Kevin Luchmun creates a hair look reminiscent of 1980’s rave culture at House of Holland SS17
Devastated that he missed out on the halcyon days of the Hacienda, Designer Henry Holland is recreating one of the country’s most magical club scenes for his Season 3 Menswear presentation.
Satirical flyer artwork and archive imagery from the North’s most iconic club, create the graphics for the collection. A succinct capsule selection of dance floor must haves, inspired by then but perfect for now.
Hand embellished, embroidered denim and suiting is part of the collaboration with embroidery artist Scott Ramsey Kyle. Nothing but Good Vibes.
“For my menswear season 3 collection I looked to the height of the Haciendas reign over Manchester and the rave culture that it lead throughout the UK. Good vibes and even better clothes!” Henry Holland
